The Art of Mosaic - The Somerville Museum
Somerville is a city that is part of the Boston metropolitan area. It has a
thriving arts community (over 300 artists participated in the recent Open
Studios event) and an incredibly rich and diverse cultural environment for a
city of its size. It has been coined the Paris of the Northeast.
The Somerville Museum is a membership supported, community-based institution
that offers innovative programming to engage the community with artists,
scholars, and educators with the aim of fostering cultural education and
understanding.
The Museum is in a Federal Revival style building that provides an
aesthetically beautiful and inspirational space for exhibitions and other
cultural events. It is located in the heart of Somerville and literally in the
heart of Somerville's residential neighborhoods.

For this exhibition, museum hours will include Thursdays 2-7 pm, Fridays 2-5
pm, Saturdays 12-5 pm, Sundays 2-6 pm.
